Priyanka, who studied in a government school, fulfilled her mother’s dream by becoming Deputy Collector (SDM) by securing 23rd rank in the 2020 State Service Examination of Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC).
Scholarship took off
Priyanka’s journey is from an ordinary family to extraordinary success. He was born in Ganj area of Betul district. His father is a government teacher and mother a housewife.
- Primary Education: From Government Girls School.
- Higher Education: BSc in Computer Science and MSc in Physics from JH College.
- Preparation: Got an opportunity to prepare for the exam in Delhi in 2017 under a government scheme.
- In 2020 he moved to Indore to prepare for MPPSC main exam.
Got inspiration from aunt’s children
Priyanka told that she got the inspiration to become an officer from her aunt’s children.
- Priyanka’s aunt’s four children are Grade-B officers.
- He always used to say to Priyanka,
“There is a shortage of Deputy Collector in our family, and only you can fill this gap.”
