Police detained Class 12 student who spread bomb rumor in Delhi schools

School boy detained for Delhi bomb threat: A minor has come forward threatening to bomb 23 schools in the southern district of Delhi. While studying in 12th class, a student had given a false threat through email to bomb these schools. The police have detained him.

During investigation, the police came to know that a student studying in the bar had conspired to threaten to bomb schools. The student himself admitted that he was the one who had sent the threatening emails to the schools. Police had recently learned that at least three schools in Delhi had their own students send emails threatening bomb blasts.

A conspiracy was hatched to postpone the exam

An officer of Delhi Police Special Cell said that while studying in the same school, two brothers sent a bomb threat on the email of their own school to postpone the examination. In counselling, he admitted that the idea came to his mind after reading news reports of bomb threats against schools. The police released him after giving a warning.

44 schools of Delhi received threats

Last year, about 44 schools in Delhi had received bomb threats. In which a ransom of 1 lakh dollars was demanded from many schools and if the ransom amount was not paid, a threat was given to blow them up with a bomb within 72 hours.
