Mumbai – A 75-year-old man died in a massive fire that broke out on the 11th floor of a high-rise building owned by famous singer Udit Narayan in Andheri last night. While the other youth has been admitted to the hospital in critical condition due to suffocation. The fire brigade controlled the fire in about four hours.
It is being told that the fire broke out due to short circuit. The police have taken cognizance of the matter and are investigating further. Udit Narayan remained safe during this incident.
Oberoi Complex in Lakshmi Industrial Estate in Andheri (West) is a 13-storey skyscraper building. Last night around 10 pm, a fire broke out in the flat on the 11th floor of the building.
The security guard of the building ran towards the flat. But the fire had spread throughout the flat. Two rooms were completely destroyed.
The fire brigade team reached the spot and carried out fire extinguishing and rescue operations. The building was evacuated.
Elderly Rahul Mishra and 38-year-old Raunak Mishra suffocated due to smoke. He was shifted to a nearby hospital. But Rahul Mishra died. Where Raunak was treated.
The fire brigade brought the fire under control at around 1:49 pm. Electrical wiring, electrical installation and other materials in the flat were damaged.

According to the person present at the spot, it is suspected that the fire spread after the curtain was lit by an oil lamp.
Fire and smoke could be seen from a distance in the building. The road leading to the building was cordoned off. At the same time, electricity in the area was cut off as a precaution.
When the fire brigade started the cooling operation, pieces of glass and iron fell from the flat. But no one was injured.
Bollywood playback singer Udit Narayan, who lives in another wing of the building, was not affected by the fire. He described the incident as a difficult night. They were worried about fire.
