Sam Konstas said, The Australian team has won the five-match Test series between India and Australia 3-1. The performance of the Indian team may have been disappointing in this series, but India’s star bowler Jasprit Bumrah single-handedly performed brilliantly in the entire series. On the basis of his bowling, the Indian team troubled the Australian team a lot in this series. This was the reason why Jasprit Bumrah was chosen as ‘Player of the Series’. Meanwhile, during the last match of the series, Bumrah had a clash with Australian batsman Sam Constas. However, now after the series is over, Sam Constas has made a big revelation regarding that issue.
What did Constas say?
Regarding this matter, Kontas said, ‘I only told Bumrah that Khawaja is not ready to play yet. I think I enjoy competition and try to give my best. Maybe this was a learning opportunity for me. I was trying to waste some time there (on the field) so that he doesn’t get the second over. But Bumrah took the wicket of Khawaja. Obviously he is a world class bowler. He has taken a total of 32 wickets in this series.
What was the whole matter?
When the Australian team came to bat on the first day of the 5th Test between the two teams in Sydney, the Australian openers wanted to bowl at least one over. So that his team does not lose any wicket till the end of the day’s play. Due to which a lot of his time was wasted but Bumrah did not like this and he asked Usman Khawaja not to waste his time. Meanwhile, Sam Constance started saying something to Bumrah. After this a scuffle started between the two players. After this, Bumrah took the wicket of Usman Khawaja on the last ball of the same over.
