Actually, teacher Dharmendra Kumar Singh was shot dead in Muzaffarnagar last night. The incident was carried out by the constable who accompanied teacher Dharmendra with copies of the UP Board exam. It is being told that when the tobacco was not given, the constable fired several rounds at the teacher from the government carbine. The teacher was injured by the bullet. Later he died during treatment in the hospital.
Teacher and two employees left to collect copies of UP Board
According to the information received, teacher Santosh Kumar Dharmendra along with two class IV employees had left Varanasi in a vehicle on March 14 to collect UP Board copies in various districts of the state. Keeping security in mind, Sub Inspector Nagendra Chauhan and Chief Constable Chandra Prakash were sent with him as guards. On the way, the team collected copies at Prayagraj, Shahjahanpur, Pilibhit, Moradabad, Bijnor and reached Muzaffarnagar on the night of 17 March.
There was a dispute over not giving tobacco, then a bullet was fired
The copy was to be submitted in SD Inter College, Muzaffarnagar, but when the college gate was closed at night, everyone parked their vehicles outside. Meanwhile, chief constable Chandraprakash was harassing teacher Dharmendra. He often asked for tobacco. No one was allowed to rest. When Dharmendra Kumar protested against this, he fired from the carbine. It is alleged that the constable was drunk at that time.
Blocked the road demanding action against the murderer
As soon as the news spread that the policeman had shot the teacher, there was anger among the teachers. In the afternoon, hundreds of teachers gathered on Circular Road and blocked the road demanding action against the killer. Angry teachers started protesting on the road itself. The teacher is demanding a government job and compensation for a family member of deceased Dharmendra Kumar Singh.
Senior officers reached the spot with police force
At the same time, after receiving information about the road jam from the teachers, senior officers reached the spot along with the police force and tried to convince them. But the teachers remained adamant on their demand. Meanwhile, Bharatiya Kisan Union leader Rakesh Tikait also supported the teachers and sat on strike with them, leaving the administration helpless.
Evidence collected from the scene
At the same time, the police say that evidence has been collected from the incident site. Further action will be taken on the basis of the complaint. The accused chief constable has been taken into custody. Their weapons have also been confiscated. Investigation is ongoing.
