Arvind Kejriwal will not appear before ED today in DJB case, AAP calls summons illegal

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has refused to appear before the ED in the Delhi Jal Board scam. Aam Aadmi Party has also called the ED summons illegal. The ED on Monday summoned Kejriwal for questioning under Section 50 of the PMLA in connection with the alleged money laundering scam in Delhi Jal Board.

Aam Aadmi Party today said that Delhi CM and Aam Aadmi Party national convenor Arvind Kejriwal will not appear before the ED today. Aam Aadmi Party said that ED's summons is illegal. When Kejriwal got bail from the court, then why is ED issuing summons again and again?

Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal has been summoned by ED under Section 50 of the Money Laundering Act in the Delhi Jal Board case. ED is investigating alleged illegal tendering and proceeds of crime in Delhi Jal Board.

What is DJB Scam?

This new case of ED is also based on the FIR of CBI. It alleges irregularities in the contract worth Rs 38 crore awarded by DJB to NKG Infrastructure Limited Company despite not meeting the technical eligibility criteria. Those arrested in this case on January 31 included former DJB chief engineer Jagdish Kumar Arora and contractor Anil Kumar Aggarwal.

Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva even today took a dig at Kejriwal that he is not even a thousand against ED. Sachdeva said that Kejriwal again ran away from the investigation. Now it is clear that Arvind Kejriwal is corrupt, there is no black in pulses, water board scam is all black.
