Dahi Bhalla Recipe:

-Wash both the pulses and drain out all the water thoroughly.

-Put the pulses in the mixer and add 3-4 tablespoons of water. Grind them and make a paste.

-Pals should be ground as thick as semolina, not too finely.

– Now take out the ground dal in a bowl and beat it until it becomes fluffy and light.

-To check whether the dal is ready or not, put a small amount of the ground mixture in a bowl of water. If it starts floating on the surface then the dal is completely ready.

-Keep in mind that the dal should be beaten from one side, due to this it swells quickly and well.

– Now add 1 teaspoon salt and Eno fruit salt in it.

For frying, heat oil in a pan and keep a bowl of water aside.

-Wet your hands, take a small amount of batter and lightly roll it into a ball. Then, gently drop it into the hot oil.

-Fry all the bhallas until they become light golden brown.

-Take them out in a plate and when all the balls are fried, soak them in lukewarm water.

– Mix powdered sugar and black salt in curd and beat until smooth.

– Now squeeze out the water from the bhallas and keep them in a plate.

– Pour curd over them and then add green and tamarind chutney.

-While serving Dahi Bhalla, sprinkle red chili powder, roasted cumin and a little chaat masala on top.

– Soft and tasty Dahi Bhalla is ready. Serve this to guests on Holi.
