BJP MP Pratap Sarangi, who was injured after the clash between BJP and India Block MPs in the Parliament complex, has reacted to the incident. He said that during the clash, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi deliberately tried to instigate and accused the BJP MPs of pushing.
What happened that day?
According to Pratap Sarangi, the BJP MPs were protesting against the insult to Baba Saheb Ambedkar.

- Rahul Gandhi and other Congress MPs reached there amid the demonstration.
- BJP MPs gave him way, but he started pushing himself.
- Sarangi’s statement:
- “Rahul Gandhi wanted someone to stop him and he wanted to fight. BJP MPs did not do anything like this, but still they pushed hard.”
How did Sarangi get hurt?

- BJP MP Mukesh Rajput was standing in front of him.
- Rahul Gandhi pushed Rajput so hard that he lost his balance.
- Rajput fell on Pratap Sarangi, due to which Sarangi fell on the stairs and suffered a severe head injury.
- The situation was serious:
- “Blood started flowing from the head and I sat there. Rahul Gandhi came near and said rudely that BJP MPs pushed him.”
What did the doctors say?
Pratap Sarangi was immediately taken to the hospital.
- Even the doctor was surprised:
- “The doctor, after seeing my injury, said that despite such a serious injury, my eyes are safe, it is no less than a miracle.”
- Two weeks in hospital:
- Due to the severity of the injury he had to stay in the hospital for almost two weeks.
- The doctors took good care of him and at present he is feeling fine.

Pratap Sarangi said that this behavior of Rahul Gandhi was not suitable for the post of Leader of Opposition.
