Chief Minister Nitish Kumar gave a statement during the review meeting of schemes in Sitamarhi district that we have gone astray twice. Now we will live together and develop Bihar. It is being speculated from this statement that he has once again received an offer from RJD to join the grand alliance.

Bihar’s condition was bad before 2005

CM held a joint review meeting of Sitamarhi-Shivohar at Sitamarhi Collectorate. During this, without mentioning former CM Lalu Prasad Yadav and Rabi Devi government, he said that since November 24, 2005, the people of Bihar have given him the opportunity to work. Since then he has been continuously working for the development of Bihar. Continuous development work is being done for all areas and all sections. Before 2005, Bihar was very bad. People were afraid to come out of the house after evening. There was no provision for treatment in the hospital, the roads were bad. The condition of education was not good.

development without discrimination

CM said that earlier there were often news of Hindu-Muslim dispute. When the people of Bihar gave him a chance to work, the situation in the state changed. Development work is going on in every area. No one has been discriminated against. Together we are continuously taking Bihar forward. We made a mistake twice. Now we will always stay together and develop the country with Bihar. Actually, the CM has taken a jibe at RJD without mentioning it.

alliance with RJD twice

It is noteworthy that since 2005, CM Nitish Kumar has been joining hands sometimes with RJD and sometimes with BJP to retain his position. For this he was also awarded with many nicknames. Like opposition leader Tejashwi Yadav used to call him ‘Paltu Chacha’ in every meeting/program. For the first time in 2014, Nitish Kumar broke the alliance with BJP and joined hands with RJD. In 2015, RJD and Congress had contested the elections together. Then in 2017, he broke the alliance with RJD and joined BJP. In 2022, he again separated from BJP and joined RJD. In 2024, he again left RJD and joined hands with BJP.
