Delhi Congress President Devendra Yadav on Thursday made sharp allegations against Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and its convenor Arvind Kejriwal. Yadav claimed that fearing electoral defeat, Kejriwal is blaming others and trying to restore his deteriorating reputation.
‘Kejriwal and his associates out on bail’: Congress alleges
Devendra Yadav made serious allegations of corruption against Arvind Kejriwal and his associates.
- Liquor Scam and Money Laundering:
- Yadav said that the sword is hanging on Arvind Kejriwal, Sanjay Singh, Manish Sisodia, and Satyendar Jain in liquor scam and money laundering cases.
- All these leaders are currently out of jail on bail.

- Yadav claimed that these leaders were in danger of being arrested again.
Called AAP as ‘B-team of BJP’
Responding to AAP’s demand to oust Congress from India Alliance, Yadav launched a scathing attack on AAP.
- He said, “The Aam Aadmi Party is working as the B-team of the BJP, and because of this it is paying a heavy price.”

- On Wednesday, Delhi Congress released a 12-point white paper against AAP.
- In this white paper, Kejriwal government was accused of corruption and betrayal.
Promises to women and senior citizens: ‘Just lip service’
Devendra Yadav said that the AAP government did not fulfill its election promises.

- Yadav alleged that these schemes did not even get cabinet approval.
- Personal information of voters is being collected through promises, due to which the public is misled.
- He said the government’s own departments have issued notices against AAP’s plans.
‘Kejriwal dangerous for Delhi’: Yadav’s claim
Yadav accused Kejriwal of betraying the public trust.

- Yadav said, “During the Delhi Nyay Yatra, people pointed out that Congress should not have formed an alliance with AAP in the Lok Sabha elections.”
- He said that the public believed that if Congress had contested the elections alone, its candidates could have won.
Congress’ message: ‘Stay away from corrupt and tainted AAP’
Devendra Yadav said that Congress is continuously saying that Arvind Kejriwal is dangerous for Delhi.
