WHO chief Adhanom said in a post that we went to Yemen to negotiate the release of UN staff after they were taken hostage. There our mission to assess health and the human condition ended. When we arrived to board the flight the airport was bombed. In which a crew member of our plane got hit by it.
Do not target the worker
In this case, United Nations Secretary General Antonio Guterres strongly criticized the attack and called on Israel to respect international law. Apart from this, he stressed that civilians and humanitarian workers should never be targeted.
