Dr. Manmohan Singh Movie: Former Prime Minister of the country Dr. Manmohan Singh has passed away at the age of 92. He was suffering from age-related ailments and was admitted to AIIMS, Delhi in emergency condition at around 8 pm on December 26, where he breathed his last. He was the 14th Prime Minister of India, seen as the architect of the country’s economic reforms.

Dr. On 22 May 2004, Manmohan Singh was sworn in as the Prime Minister of India and his tenure lasted for 3656 days. His tenure ended on 26 May 2014. Manmohan Singh had a long and illustrious career in government service. He started as the Economic Advisor to the Ministry of Foreign Trade in 1971 during the tenure of Indira Gandhi. Later in 1972, he was appointed Chief Economic Advisor to the Ministry of Finance. He remained in this post till 1976.

Controversy arose as soon as the trailer was launched
As soon as the trailer of the film was launched, there was a lot of controversy regarding it. The film ran into controversy after the trailer was launched as the opposition objected to the roles of former Congress president Sonia Gandhi and her son Rahul Gandhi. A petition was also filed to remove the trailer from Google and YouTube but the Delhi High Court rejected it.
