A shocking incident came to light outside the Parliament House in Delhi on Wednesday, when a man tried to commit suicide in front of the new Parliament House. The police present on the spot took immediate action, extinguished the fire and took him to the hospital. Police said the incident took place near Rail Bhawan intersection, where a man from Baghpat in Uttar Pradesh set himself on fire. The injured person has been admitted to RML Hospital in critical condition.

According to CNN-News18 report, the person who committed suicide has been identified as Jitendra, a resident of Baghpat district of Uttar Pradesh.

“A man hailing from Baghpat in Uttar Pradesh set himself on fire at Rail Bhawan intersection. The local police and railway police with the help of citizens extinguished the fire and immediately took the injured person to the hospital.
