Ingredients to make Dry Fruit Cake

  • Flour: 1 cup
  • Curd: 1/2 cup
  • Milk: 1/4 cup
  • Baking Powder: 1 tsp
  • Baking Soda: 1/2 tsp
  • Milk Powder: 2 tbsp
  • Dry Fruits: 4-5 tbsp (cashew nuts, raisins, walnuts, almonds etc.)
  • Vanilla essence: 1 tsp
  • Almond slivers: 2 tsp
  • Ghee: 1/2 cup
  • Sugar Powder: 1/2 cup
  • Salt: 1 pinch

How to make dry fruit cake

Step 1: Prepare Dry Ingredients

  1. Sieve flour, baking powder, milk powder, and baking soda in a large bowl.
  2. Add salt to it and mix everything well.

Step 2: Prepare Wet Ingredients

  1. Take a separate bowl and add curd, sugar powder, and ghee to it.
  2. Beat and mix all these ingredients well.

Step 3: Prepare the Batter

  1. Now add dry ingredients little by little to the wet mixture and mix gently.
  2. Prepare thick and smooth batter by adding milk.
  3. Add vanilla essence and finely chopped dry fruits to it and mix well.

Step 4: Prepare for Baking

  1. Grease a baking tin with ghee.
  2. Pour the prepared batter into the tin and spread the almond slices on top.

Step 5: Bake the Cake

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
  2. Place the cake tin in the oven and bake for 30 minutes.
  3. After baking, let the cake cool and then remove it from the oven.
