Know what is this Mera Ration 2.0 app
Government of India has launched Mera Ration 2.0 app. Through which ration card holders can get ration even without a card. Earlier people had to take their ration card to the shop to get ration. Now through this app people can get ration online by entering their Aadhar card number.
How to use the app
This app can be downloaded from Google Play Store and Apple App Store. After downloading, users will have to login with OTP by entering their Aadhaar number. As soon as you log in, the ration card will open on the app. By showing which people can take ration.

Some important rules have been made by the government for making ration cards. If a person has more than 100 square meters of land including a plot, flat or house, he cannot apply for a ration card. People who have 4 wheeler (car or tractor) also cannot apply for ration card. Along with this, people who have fridge or AC in their house also cannot make ration card. Along with this, even if someone in a family is doing a government job, his ration card cannot be made.
Income for ration card should be less than 2 lakhs
To make a ration card, the family income in the village should be less than Rs 2 lakh. Whereas in cities the annual income should not exceed Rs 3 lakh. Any person paying income tax cannot make a ration card. Along with this, if someone has a licensed gun then he is also ineligible for ration card.
