A big relief has been announced for those taking admission under Economically Weaker Section (EWS) in private schools of Delhi. Delhi Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena has approved increasing the income limit for admission in EWS category to Rs 5 lakh. Earlier this limit was Rs 2.5 lakh. The objective of this decision is to give more families the benefit of admission in private schools under EWS quota.

- Now those parents whose annual income is up to Rs 5 lakh will be able to get their children admitted in private schools under EWS quota.
