According to meteorology, yellow alert has been issued till March 20. During this period, there will be moderate rain along with thunderstorms and strong winds in the southern and central parts of the state. While an orange alert has been issued for March 19, there is a possibility of heavy rain and winds in the southern and central parts on March 19.
Meteorologist Abhishek Anand said that an increase in rain will be seen till March 20. During this period, there will be rain in the north-eastern, southern and central parts of the state. According to the Centre, during this period there will be rain in Ranchi, Ramgarh, Hazaribagh, Gumla, Bokaro, Khunti, East and West Singhbhum, Simdega and Seraikela Kharsawan districts. At the same time, on 20th and 21st, there is a possibility of rain in the north-eastern part including Dhanbad, Deoghar, Dumka, Giridih, Godda, Jamtara.
