Farmers movement: Bharat Bandh of farmers showed mixed effect, government will talk to farmers on Sunday

The farmers standing on the Delhi border had called for Gramin Bharat Bandh on Friday regarding their demands, which had a mixed effect. Along with this, bus services also remained closed in Rohtak, Jhajjar, Hisar, Jind and some other parts of the state in support of the Gramin Bharat Bandh called by the United Kisan Morcha.

Due to Bharat Bandh, there was a long traffic jam on the borders of the capital Delhi. Meanwhile, security forces have fired tear gas shells to disperse the protesting farmers at Haryana Shambhu border. If media reports are to be believed, Union Minister Anurag Thakur said that Sunday has been fixed for the next talks with farmer organizations.

He said that I am confident that talks will take place in a good atmosphere on Sunday also and we will move forward to resolve these issues. Law and order is a state subject, they have to maintain law and order at their place.
