After the last five days of decline, the Indian stock market has made a strong start this week. BSE Sensex and Nifty 50 recovered more than half a percent on Monday amid positive signals from global markets.

1. Whirlpool of India and PG Electroplast

  • Agreement: PG Electroplast has tied up to manufacture some semi-automatic washing machine models of Whirlpool.
  • Manufacturing site: This production will take place in Roorkee factory.
  • Other Supplies: PG Electroplast already supplies Whirlpool brand ACs.

2. Ramky Infrastructure

  • Warning Letter: NSE and BSE have issued warning letters regarding the delay in the Risk Management Committee meetings.

3. MMTC

    • TVS Emerald acquired 100% equity shares and Compulsory Convertible Debentures in Radial (Phase II and III) IT Park.
    • Both these companies have become wholly owned subsidiaries of TVS Emerald.

  • Key resignations: CFO and Vice President (Finance and Accounts) Ravish Mittal resigned on December 23.

  • Board meeting:
