The Central Government has launched NaMo Drone Didi Scheme for women farmers i.e. Self Help Groups (SHGs). Under this, drones will be given to self-help groups. Which they will be able to use in farming, which will help in increasing their income. Currently, around 10 crore women are part of SHGs across the country. Under this scheme, drones will be provided to 14,500 women self-help groups (SHGs) across the country. The special thing is that Modi government will give 80 percent subsidy in this. Loan will be given on the remaining 20 percent.
There is another advantage of this loan. 3 percent rebate in interest will be given separately. According to the Agriculture Ministry, the estimated cost of a drone package will be around Rs 10 lakh and for every 10 lakh drones, SHGs will get a subsidy of Rs 8 lakh. That means he will have to pay only Rs 2 lakh and will be given a loan of Rs 2 lakh.
Apart from the drone, the complete package will include four additional batteries, charging hub, genset for charging and drone box. The woman flying the drone will be trained as a drone pilot and the other woman as a co-pilot for data analysis and maintenance of the drone. be trained Will go. This 15 day training will be included in this package. Under this scheme, drones will be used for spraying nano fertilizers and pesticides and women will be trained in this regard.
