First and last directorial film, to be released on December 25

Superstar Mohanlal’s directorial debut film ‘Baroj’ is now all set for release. There is a lot of excitement among the fans about this much-awaited film. Recently, Mohanlal revealed in an interview that ‘Baroj’ will be his first and last directorial film.

Unique 3D experience: without glasses

Mohanlal told that the main objective of directing ‘Baroj’ was to make a 3D film which could be watched without 3D glasses.

  Usually people complain of headache after 3D movies. But nothing like this happened during the preview show of ‘Barooz’.
• However, making a 3D film without glasses was technically very expensive, so the idea was not entirely feasible.

Mohanlal said that he has always been fond of making impossible things possible. This was the reason why he decided to direct ‘Baroj’.

An interesting thing related to ‘Baroz’ is that the film team had contacted famous Hollywood composer Hans Zimmer.

• Mohanlal wrote a letter to him requesting him to compose the music of the film.
• However, Hans Zimmer declined citing lack of time.
