RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat had given a statement some time ago regarding Hindu society. He gave the statement without naming any temple or mosque dispute, on which now two big saints of the country have reacted. Tulsi Peethadhishwar Jagadguru Rambhadracharya said that I do not agree with Mohan Bhagwat’s statement at all. I want to make it clear that Mohan Bhagwat is not our guru but we are his guru.
Rambhadracharya also gave statement
On the other hand, Shankaracharya Swami Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati of Jyotirmath Peeth in Uttarakhand also reacted. He accused Mohan Bhagwat of adopting a politically favorable stance. Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati said, when he wanted power he talked about temples. Now that they have power they are advising not to search temples.
‘Hindus have been oppressed in the past’
Avimukteshwarananda Saraswati further said that an inventory of temples destroyed by invaders in the past should be prepared and archaeological surveys of the structures should be conducted to restore Hindu glory. He said that many atrocities have been committed on Hindus in the past. Their religious places have been destroyed. If Hindu society now wants to renovate and maintain its temples, what is wrong in it?
What did Mohan Bhagwat say?
RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat had recently expressed concern over the emergence of new temple-mosque disputes. He said that after the construction of Ram temple, some people feel that they can become leaders of Hindus by raising similar issues in new places. this is not acceptable.
Mohan Bhagwat further said that Ram temple was built because it is a matter of faith for all Hindus. Without mentioning any specific place, he said, ‘Every day a new controversy is arising. How can this be allowed? , India needs to show that we can live together.
Although yes, the RSS chief did not mention any specific controversy. He said that some groups from outside have brought with them fanaticism and they want their old regime to return. But now the country is running according to the Constitution. In this system the public elects its representatives, who run the government. Gone are the days of dominance. The reign of Mughal emperor Aurangzeb was known for this determination. However, his descendant Bahadur Shah Zafar banned cow slaughter in 1857.
