Police Encounter in Pilot: It is reported that three Khalistani terrorists have been killed in a police encounter in Pilibhit, Uttar Pradesh. This operation was carried out under the joint operation of Punjab and UP Police.

All three terrorists are said to be members of Khalistani Commando Force. Police have recovered several weapons including an AK-47 gun from him. My slain terrorists have been identified as Gurvinder Singh, Ravi and Jaspreet. All three were accused of being involved in the grenade attack on Gurdaspur police post in Punjab some time ago.
Joint operation of UP and Punjab Police
The news of encounter from Pilibhit early on Monday morning is being considered as a big success for UP and Punjab Police. According to the information received, the encounter took place in Puranpur area of Pilibhit. A team of Punjab Police had come to UP in search of the three terrorists. Punjab Police was running the search operation in collaboration with UP Police.
Police asked him to surrender
According to reports, the police had received information that three terrorists were hiding. The police took joint action and surrounded them. The police warned the terrorists and asked them to surrender but they were not ready for this. UP and Punjab Police had an encounter with Khalistani terrorists, in which three Khalistani terrorists were killed.
DGP called it a big success of the police
Talking on the matter, UP DGP Prashant Kumar said that the operation was led by Pilibhit SP. UP Police had received input from Punjab Police about Khalistan terrorists. All three were involved in the attack on a police post in Gurdaspur, Punjab. He said that this is a big success of the joint operation conducted in coordination with the police of both the states.
