Big blow to 'weak' BJP in South India! Dissatisfied former MP joins Congress with son

Lok Sabha Elections 2024: Lok Sabha elections are near. BJP has suffered a big blow when its program is going to be announced today. Veteran party leader and former MP Jitendra Reddy has resigned from BJP. Hyderabad Chief Minister Revanth Reddy joined the Congress in the presence of his son and All India Congress Committee (AICC) state in-charge Deepa Das Munshi. Jeetendra Reddy also shared his resignation letter from BJP on Twitter.

Congress strong in Telangana

Let us tell you that this is being considered a big blow for BJP before the Lok Sabha elections. Congress party is in a strong position in Telangana, whereas BJP's position in the southern states is not that good. In such a situation, the joining of the son of a former BJP MP in Congress can prove to be harmful for the party. In the recently held Telangana Assembly elections, Congress Party has captured power in the state by defeating BRS and BJP.
