Mumbai – Due to the political impact of Parbhani violence and Sarpanch incident in Beed, the state government has suspended the SP of Parbhani. Judicial inquiry has been ordered into the Parbhani incident. On the other hand, orders for both SIT investigation and judicial inquiry into the murder of Sarpanch in Beed district have been given.
The government has also assured the Assembly that those responsible for spreading anarchy in Beed district will be punished irrespective of their political connections.
In Beed, the District Superintendent of Police will be transferred along with judicial and SIT investigation of the case. Apart from this, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said in the Assembly that action will be taken against the culprits of this case under MCOCA and other types of criminals including land mafia and sand mafia of Beed district will be detected and action will be taken against them. ,
He also said that Parbhani police officer Ashok Ghorband would be suspended and an inquiry would be conducted into whether he misused police force.
Fadnavis said the murder of Masjog village sarpanch Deshmukh would be investigated by a Special Investigation Team (SIT) under an IG rank officer within a time frame of three to six months.
