The match was canceled due to rain on the fifth day. Therefore the match was cancelled. And thus the third match was a draw. India got the target of 275 runs to win the match. After three Test matches, both the teams are tied at 1-1 in the series. Even after the match was drawn, the Indian team’s hopes of reaching the final of the World Test Championship are still intact.

However, after this match no significant change was seen in the WTC point table. The Indian team is still at third place in the points table. Apart from this, Australia is at second place and South Africa is at first place. After the Gaba Test, the Australian team has 106 points and the Indian team has 114 points.
Will India reach the final?
