Leave it or you will fall: RSS chief Bhagwat

Mumbai: Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh chief Mohan Bhagwat said that if you do not leave from here, your fall is certain. Taking inspiration from the teachings of Ramakrishna Paramahamsa, Bhagwat explained the difference between raw and ripe Hunkara. He advises against arrogance, which hinders personal and social progress.

Rashtriya Sevak Sangh chief Mohan Bhagwat stressed the importance of selflessness and selfless service for social trust and progress. Speaking at the silver jubilee program of Bharat Vikas Parishad’s Center for Disability in Pune, he said that selfless service gives lasting happiness and inspires unity in the community. Bhagwat said that despite the decline of social norms, positive and noble work is still happening in the society. He called upon people to promote such activities more.

According to Bhagwat, to avoid degradation, people should engage in selfless service by connecting with God within themselves and should give up ego. Bhagwat emphasized the transformative power of humanity and service.

The RSS chief also drew attention to the broader objective of Seva, to empower all sections of the society to contribute to the development of the country. Bhagwat said that service is not only charity but also a medium to prepare capable citizens for the progress of the nation. Bhagwat said that the development of a nation depends on enabling individuals to achieve their full potential.

Lauding the Bharat Vikas Parishad’s Center for the Disabled, Bhagwat appreciated its efforts to empower them through artificial limbs and mobility aids. He also appreciated the important role of RSS workers in running effective campaigns in the society.
