Want to print a new PAN card with QR code? Know the whole process

If you want to reprint your PAN card with QR code, the process has now become very easy. For just Rs 50 you can avail the reprint service of your PAN card. This new PAN card will include a QR code, which will be digitally sent to your registered email address. If you order a physical copy, it will be shipped to your address.

If you want to update any type of information in your PAN card, this service is free of cost. New PAN card will be issued with revised information.

Keep these things in mind before reprinting PAN card

  1. Issuing Agency Information:
    Before applying for reprint, know by which agency your existing PAN card has been issued.
    • Protean (Protean eGov Technologies) – Earlier known as NSDL.
    • UTIITSL (UTI Infrastructure Technology and Services Limited)

    This information is given on the back of your PAN card. Accordingly, start the reprint process from the concerned agency.

PAN Card Reprint Process through Protege (NSDL)

  1. Visit Website:
    • Go to Proteus’ Reprint PAN page.
  2. Fill in the information:
    • Enter the required information like PAN number, Aadhaar number (only for individuals) and date of birth.
    • Select the tick box and click on ‘Submit’.
  3. Verify Information:
    • The information will remain partially hidden.
    • Select OTP option (mobile number, email ID or both).
  4. Enter OTP:
    • Enter the OTP sent within 10 minutes and click on ‘Validate’.
  5. Make Payment:
    • Pay Rs 50.
    • Download and save the acknowledgment slip once the payment is successful.
  6. Download e-PAN:
    • You can download e-PAN from NSDL website after 24 hours of payment.
    • The reprinted PAN card will reach your address in 15-20 days.

PAN card reprint process through UTIITSL

  1. Visit Website:
    • Go to UTIITSL Reprint PAN page.
  2. Select ‘PAN Card Reprint’ option:
    • Fill the required information like PAN number, date of birth, and captcha code.
    • Click on ‘Submit’.
  3. OTP Verification:
    • The OTP verification process will be the same as in NSDL.
  4. Make Payment:
    • Pay Rs 50.
  5. Reprinted PAN:
    • The reprinted PAN card will be sent to your registered address.
