Every day new twists are emerging in the suicide case of 34-year-old engineer Atul Subhash from Bengaluru. Wife Nikita Singhania has completely rejected the allegations of harassment made by Atul. In police custody, Nikita claimed that Atul was the one who tortured her.

Nikita’s statement: Were living separately for three years

Nikita Singhania said during police interrogation that she was living separately from Atul for the last three years.

  • he argued, “If I was bothering him about money, why would I stay away from him?”

Police action: Nikita and family arrested

Bengaluru Police arrested Nikita Singhania from Gurugram, while her mother Nisha Singhania and brother Anurag Singhania were caught from Prayagraj.

    • Nikita Singhania (29)
    • Nisha Singhania (Nikita’s mother)
    • Anurag Singhania (27, Nikita’s brother)
  • All three have been sent to judicial custody for 14 days after being produced in the court.

Meanwhile, the Allahabad High Court has granted anticipatory bail to Nikita’s uncle Sushil Singhania, who was an accused in the case.

Atul Subhash’s suicide note: ‘Justice is still pending’

Atul Subhash was found dead in his flat on Monday. Police found a 24-page suicide note from him, on each page of which it was written,

“Justice is due”

  1. Atul cited domestic dispute as the reason for his death.
  2. He alleged that his wife’s family had demanded Rs 3 crore.
  3. Atul accused the judge of Jaunpur’s family court of biased attitude.
  4. He said that eight false police complaints were filed against him.
  5. He apologized to his parents for not being able to take care of him in their old age.

Debate on social media: the issue of misuse of laws

A 90-minute video of Atul Subhash went viral on social media, after which a debate has erupted in the society regarding misuse of laws. In the video, Atul said that he was harassed due to false allegations and legal battle.

Atul’s family’s reaction

Atul’s family expressed disappointment with the justice system after the incident, saying:

“There is no law for men in the country. All laws are in favor of women.”
