Former CM Ashok Gehlot’s troubles may increase once again in the much talked about phone tapping case of Rajasthan. Ashok Gehlot’s former OSD Lokesh Sharma has become a government witness. Advocate Rohan Wadhwa filed a pardon appeal on behalf of Lokesh Sharma, which was accepted by the Patiala House Court. Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat filed the case.
Lokesh Sharma accused Ashok Gehlot of phone tapping
In March 2021, Gajendra Singh Shekhawat filed a case with the Delhi Crime Branch alleging phone tapping. The Crime Branch interrogated Lokesh Sharma in this matter. After this, Sharma held a press conference and accused Ashok Gehlot of phone tapping. When the issue of phone tapping came to light in the year 2021, Ashok Gehlot also expressed his views on social media. He described this issue as a fight for supremacy in BJP. Gehlot said that through this allegation, BJP leaders are trying to unnecessarily disrupt the proceedings of the House.
