Patna, 16 December (HS). Addressing the ‘Bihar Vision Document @2047’ workshop of Bihar Institute of Public Administration and Rural Development (BIPARD), Director General of BIPARD KK Pathak stressed the importance of teamwork and collective approach. Also said that this workshop is an important step towards building a prosperous and developed Bihar by 2047. The progress of Bihar is possible when all the departments work together collaboratively.
Supporting this view, Dr. B. Rajendra said that the vision document of Bihar @ 2047 will give concrete shape to the aspirations of the state and present solutions to the specific challenges. Our collective efforts will create a future that is sustainable, inclusive and transformative. In this workshop, special attention was paid to creating an integrated vision for the development of the state by encouraging coordination and cooperation between departments. Representatives from various departments presented departmental goals and strategies till 2047.
Along with this, using the existing resources in the state was discussed while identifying the major developmental challenges of the state.
Through constructive discussions and activities in the sessions, the delegates shared individual perspectives and suggested taglines on the theme “Vikas Bihar-2047.
In this workshop, Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (MNREGA) Commissioner Abhilasha Sharma, on behalf of the Rural Development Department, presented the views focused on social empowerment and environmental sustainability of the department. Also, Agriculture Department Secretary Sanjay Aggarwal stressed on empowering the rural economy through improved agricultural productivity, innovative methods and inclusion of technology and establishing Bihar as a leading state in agribusiness.
