Bikaner, 16 December (HS). On completion of one year of BJP government of Rajasthan, a delegation of Bikaner City District Congress Committee submitted a memorandum to the Bikaner District Collector in the name of the Governor and urged him to play his effective role as District Collector in taking decisions of Bikaner.

Organization General Secretary Nitin Vatsas said that District President Yashpal Gehlot, senior Congress leader of Rajasthan and former minister Dr. Bulakidas Kalla, while submitting a memorandum of 25 points, said that no public interest work was done in Bikaner in one year of the BJP government. Even the works approved in the previous Congress government were deliberately stalled. Kalla and Gehlot demanded from the District Collector that he himself should investigate the matter and get the previously approved works completed without any delay. Describing the works done for the benefit of the people of Bikaner in the past, the District Collector was informed that this is the first time in the 1 year rule that the previously approved and ongoing works have been stopped, which is an injustice to the people of Bikaner. Congress party will not tolerate the work to solve the problem of Coatgate and Sankhala Gate and not starting it even after financial approval is an act that will increase the sufferings of the people.

The delegation included Organization General Secretary Nitin Vatsas, Block President Sumit Kochhar, Block President Anand Singh Sodha, Block President Shahzad Bhutta, Block President Zakir Nagauri, General Secretary Manoj Kiradu, Spokesperson Anil Sarda, Banshilal Acharya, Secretary Manoj Chaudhary.
