Maharashtra Cabinet: The cabinet expansion of Maharashtra government took place yesterday on Sunday and 39 MLAs took oath as ministers. Along with this, the sidelined leaders and ministers have also expressed their displeasure. Many leaders of Shiv Sena and NCP have expressed their displeasure over not being given ministerial posts despite consecutive victories.
Eknath Shinde’s party MLA Narendra Bhondekar has now publicly expressed his displeasure after resigning from the post of Vidarbha convenor and deputy leader. He has also admitted that he has made a big mistake by supporting Eknath Shinde.
Narendra Bhondekar said, ‘You rebelled against Shiv Sena two and a half years ago and took a different path. I was the first among the 10 independent members to support you. I have come to you without any selfishness and in two and a half years I have supported the government without asking for anything. You had promised that if our government is formed, you will give me a ministerial post. I want that the representation of the district should remain in the government till the time a minister from another district holds this post.
you promised but didn’t keep
He openly expressed his displeasure against Eknath Shinde and said that what more answer can we give to the people of our district than this. I have won the election for the third consecutive time from the city seat of Bhandara district. I have sent messages to Eknath Shinde, Uday Samant and Shrikant Shinde informing them that they are resigning from their posts. Along with his resignation, Narendra Bhondekar has also expressed his anger on those leaders who have now been made ministers. He said that there are many people who came to the party through the back door and later got ministerial posts. Then why this discrimination against honest and trustworthy people?
He said, I have the responsibility of convenor of 6 districts. But what advice was taken from me on anything? Besides, I was not given any information and I myself could not get a place in the Council of Ministers. In such a situation, how can I answer the people of my area and district? Not only this, I was about to resign from the post of MLA, but stopped thinking about the people of the area.
praised Fadnavis
While praising Devendra Fadnavis, Zaheer said that an offer to join BJP had come from his side. I also consider him my leader, but did not go along. Was it my fault?
