Bhopal, March 15 (HS). Union Minister of State for Steel and Rural Development Faggan Singh Kulaste and State Panchayat and Rural Development and Labor Minister Prahlad Singh Patel on Friday inaugurated a new Panchayat building costing Rs 20 lakh in Gram Panchayat Umaria of Gotegaon District Panchayat of Narsinghpur district. Along with this, cow shed, CC drain construction and road construction built at a cost of about Rs 37 lakh in Neguwan Panchayat of Gotegaon Assembly was also inaugurated.
On this occasion, Union Minister Kulaste said that he has an old relationship with Gotegaon. He has been associated with this field for a long time. The construction works inaugurated today will give impetus to the development of the area. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, new beneficiary-oriented programs and schemes are being implemented every day by the state government.
He said that former Prime Minister Late. Atal Bihari Vajpayee was concerned about the tribal brothers living in tribal areas. Tribal Ministry was created by former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee for the upliftment of tribal society and to keep their culture, tradition and heritage alive. Under this, grants were provided for tribal areas. PM Jan Man Yojana has been started under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, the objective of which is to provide all basic facilities to the tribal communities living in remote areas. The government is committed to the welfare of the tribal society.
Minister Prahlad Singh Patel said that various development works worth more than Rs 45 lakh like new Panchayat building, culvert, boundary wall, CC road construction, drain construction, culvert construction have been inaugurated in Umaria Panchayat. The people of the area will benefit from these construction works. He said that he has had a relationship with Neguwan for four generations. When they first came here, there were no roads. Coming to those times, one used to get the same love and affection which one is getting today. There has been no change in the nature of the people living here. Now the construction work has gained momentum and the area has developed. There has been positive change in people's lives.
He said that the coarse grains which the whole world is talking about today are the food of our tribal brothers and sisters. This is the best food in the world, which is delicious and full of nutrients. He has also urged the farmers to cultivate coarse grains. This crop requires less water. The tribal society has grown these without any degradation of nature.
