Karauli, March 15 (HS). Two real brothers died due to drowning while bathing in Futara Talai located in Barriya village of Kurgaon police station area of the district. The villagers and the police reached the spot and after a lot of effort, took out the bodies of the children from the pond. Citing the poor financial condition of the family, the villagers have demanded financial assistance from the government and administration.
After the accident, the villagers blocked the Kurgaon-Kaila Devi road with their demands. Due to which a long queue of vehicles formed. On receiving information about the jam, along with Kurgaon police station, Mamchari police station and Karauli DSP Anuj Shubham also reached the spot and are busy in counseling the villagers.
Kurgaon police station ASI Narendra Singh said that Jitendra (9) alias Kanha and Bhola (7), two sons of Dinesh Prajapat, resident of Barriya village, had gone to the pond with their mother. When the mother started bathing in the pond, the children started playing nearby. During this, both the children slipped into deep water and drowned. As soon as the information about the accident was received, the rural and Kurgaon police station also reached the spot and with the help of the villagers, took out the bodies of the children from the pond. The children's father works as a pottery maker. After the incident, the family members are in bad condition and crying.
