Chhatarpur: Consumers made aware on World Consumer Rights Day

Chhatarpur, March 15 (Hindus). World Consumer Rights Day was also celebrated in the district on Friday. The program was organized in the District Panchayat meeting room Chhatarpur under the chief guestship of District Panchayat President Vidya Agnihotri. On this occasion, consumers were made aware of the provisions of the Consumer Protection Act 2019. Information related to the interests of consumers was given by Dr. Ramji Aggarwal, District President of All India Consumer Upliftment Organization.

In the program, Food Safety Officer Vandana Jain also gave information about her department and consumers about their rights and on behalf of the department, District Supply Officer Sitaram Kothare gave information about the facilities provided to the consumers and about listening to complaints and their resolution. District in-charge of City Gas Service G.P. Consumers were given information by Barua regarding the gas pipeline being installed in the district.

The program of World Consumer Rights Day was made on the theme of consumers knowing their rights. Gratitude was expressed by Junior Supply Officer Rishi Sharma. The program was conducted by Junior Supply Officer Jitendra Burman.
