Now slum children will no longer be deprived of education

Hisar, 15 December (Hissar). With the aim of connecting slum children with the mainstream of society and educating them, Bhik Nahi Kitab Do organization and Sambhav Welfare Society, with the help of social workers, have established Swabhiman Study and Training Center in the slums located in Sector-16. The school was inaugurated here by performing Havan Yagya in the presence of Acharya Suryadev Shastri.

The special thing was that during this period, slum children were present as chief guests. On this occasion, Suman Batra, associated with many social and religious organizations, celebrated her birthday with the children by participating in the Havan-Yagya. Suman Batra was made the host in the havan. Suman Batra also presented a sewing machine for the sewing training centre. Institution director Annu Chiniya said that in this school, needy children will be able to get education and walk in the society with their heads held high. Advocate Lal Bahadur Khowal, patron of the organization, said that effective steps are being taken by the organization in the interest of society and for the upliftment of poor children. Everyone should sacrifice themselves in this yagya. General Secretary of the organization, Suresh Poonia, while congratulating Suman Batra on his birthday, expressed his gratitude for supporting the organization.

On this occasion, the main members of the organization were Shailesh Verma, Pawan Kumar, Trilok Bansal, Satyendra Yaduvanshi, Dr. Sandeep Kaliravana, Harish Kumar, Garima Bansal, Rekha Gautam, Sandeep Banwala, Mandeep, Ankur, Vedansh, Yuvraj, Advocate Himanshu Verma, Advocate Raj. Verma, Kamlesh Rai and all the children living in slums and their parents were specially present.

It is noteworthy that recently all the slum dwellers and their children were rendered homeless due to the fire incident in the slums located near Sector-16. Even all his belongings were burnt to ashes. In this critical situation, the people of Hisar showed promptness and provided every kind of help to the poor, laborers and needy slum dwellers. Social workers came forward and took care of them and provided food and other materials with immediate effect. Understanding their plight, social workers made arrangements for the rehabilitation of these people and provided them with various items including ration, clothes and utensils. Annu Chiniya played a special role in providing immediate assistance to the slum dwellers.
