Hyderabad, March 15 (HS). Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a road show in Malkajgiri Lok Sabha constituency late on Friday evening wishing the victory of Bharatiya Janata Party in Telangana. Many party leaders including party's Lok Sabha candidate Eatala Rajender, Union Tourism Minister G Kishan Reddy participated in this program. This road show from Mirzalaguda to Malkajigiri Cross lasted for about an hour for about 1.2 km. During this time a large number of people gathered.
After the road show, Prime Minister Modi will reach Raj Bhavan. Will stay there tonight and tomorrow morning will address a public meeting organized by the Bharatiya Janata Party at 10 am in Nagarkurnool, Telangana.
Earlier, in view of the arrest of Kavita, daughter of former Chief Minister Chandrashekhar Rao, the police had declared high alert in Malkajgiri, Hyderabad. Heavy security arrangements of central and state forces were made for the Prime Minister Modi Vijay Sankalp Road Show. Two days ago, the SPG commando team had taken possession of the route map of Modi's road show. A team of over 60 top SPG commandos and 10 NSG commandos in two other tiers were formed to protect the Prime Minister. Apart from this, shops on both sides of the road remained closed. The SPG team was coordinating with Central Intelligence City Security Wing, Central Intelligence Force SPG Commando regarding Prime Minister Modi's road show. Security was monitored through CCTV cameras for the 1.5 km long road show.
