Prayagraj, 15 December (HS). The corridor of the Big Hanuman Temple located on the Sangam bank in Sangamnagari is ready. Crores of devotees who come here worship Hanuman ji through various worship methods. In this sequence, Shodashopachar puja also has special significance here. All the wishes of those who worship Shodashopachar are fulfilled and all their troubles are also averted. Mahant of the temple and Shrimath Baghambari Peethadhishwar Balveer Giri Maharaj told about this worship method that Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who was on Prayagraj tour, was also worshiped in the temple with Shodashopachar method. He was also presented with the special Gaurishankar Rudraksh which was around the neck of Hanumanji. He also expressed his gratitude to PM Modi and CM Yogi for organizing the grand and divine Mahakumbh.
Mahant of Late Hanuman Temple and Shrimath Baghambari Peethadhishwar Balveer Giri said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi, like a host, performed special puja before the Maha Kumbh. The Prime Minister’s time was very important, but even in a short time, Shodashopachar puja was performed for him. PM offered kumkum, roli, rice, akshat and vermillion to Hanuman ji. This is a very special puja, in which the deity is worshiped with 16 items. This puja has special significance. Through this, resolutions are fulfilled, virtues increase, good wishes are fulfilled and one gets happiness, wealth and glory.
He said that Hanuman ji is called the trouble-shooter. Worshiping Lord Hanuman in this manner removes all troubles. He told that after the completion of the puja, the PM was also made to wear the special Rudraksh Gauri Shankar around the neck of Bade Hanuman. This special Rudraksha is the form of Shiva and Parvati, which adorns the neck of Hanuman ji.
PM’s conduct is inspiring to everyone. He told that during the puja, the power of saints was visible on the face of the Prime Minister. The most important thing is that he had a sense of humility towards the saints. Generally, people do not thank the saints after the puja, but after the puja was over, the PM said thanks with full humility, which is inspiring to everyone. He said that the PM also showed his interest in the convenience of the devotees in the newly constructed corridor and took information from the temple administration regarding the arrival and departure of the devotees. He appeared as a guardian who is concerned about the entire nation.
What CM Yogi did for Prayagraj, no one did that. Balveer Giri also praised CM Yogi. He said that no one had thought about Prayagraj and Sangam as much as the Chief Minister did before today. In the life of a saint, many people were seen reaching high positions, but a personality like Chief Minister was never seen. Whenever he comes to Prayagraj, he definitely visits the temple and here too he always plays the role of host. For us he is like an elder brother. However, his gestures are not just for the temple or monastery, but for the entire state. He always asks how is Prayagraj going. It is very important for any province to have such ideas in a Chief Minister.
He also gave the message of cleanliness. He said that the responsibility of making Mahakumbh a clean Mahakumbh is not only of the government and administration, but also of the devotees. I have only one appeal to all the pilgrims that after bathing during Mahakumbh, do not offer their clothes, flowers and leaves in the rivers or in the pilgrimage places. Sins are washed away just by taking the name of Prayag and Ganga. By taking one step here in the month of Magh, one gets the results of Ashwamedha Yagya. Crores of pilgrimages are contained here. Make maximum efforts for its purity. If you respect the pilgrimage, the pilgrimage will also respect you. At the time of bathing, the land of Prayag provides salvation to crores of people. Here the wise and the ignorant get equal results.
