“Hear my voice in this imaginary concert and imagine this beautiful motherland.”
Event organized without audience
This concert was held without an audience. Parastu Ahmadi and his four-member entourage had performed outside the stage in a traditional caravanserai complex.
Two other male musicians also arrested
According to Ahmadi’s lawyer Milad Panahipour, two other male musicians in connection with the case, Sohail Faghih Nasiri and Ehsan Beraghdar, were also arrested in Tehran on the same day.
Hijab mandatory since 1979
