BJP's proxy government completely failed in Jammu and Kashmir: Congress

Vijaypur, March 15 (HS). Jammu and Kashmir Congress on Friday alleged that the BJP's proxy government has failed on all fronts in Jammu and Kashmir and claimed that today people feel cheated by the saffron party. Congress party workers organized a public meeting on Friday at Nad under Samba constituency here.

Former minister and state vice president of Congress Yash Paul Kundal was the chief guest during this period. District President Sanjeev Sharma, District President SC Department Vinod Kumar arrived as special guests. Addressing the workers, Kundal said that only the Congress Party rule in Jammu and Kashmir can bring back smiles on the faces of the people. The party also passed a resolution to condemn the government for not holding assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir.

The government led by Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha in Jammu and Kashmir has proved to be a complete failure on all fronts and the common people have been left to fend for themselves. Kundal said that people are in dire straits under the proxy government of BJP in Jammu and Kashmir. While addressing, District President Sanjeev Sharma said that the people of Jammu region to whom BJP had promised good days are feeling cheated by the saffron party today because BJP leaders are making false promises just to secure votes. Sanjeev said that BJP leaders also know very well that the people of this area are waiting to teach them a lesson. Whenever there are elections, BJP has the fear of losing. This is the reason why the government has adopted the strategy of delaying the elections. Assuring the Congress cadre that the party is fully prepared for the elections, he said that people have now realized that only Congress can provide solutions to their problems and whenever assembly or parliamentary elections are held in Jammu and Kashmir So they will vote heavily for Congress candidates.
