Ranchi, 14 December (Hindu). JSSC Secretary Sudhir Kumar Gupta said that there was no irregularity of any kind in the CGL exam. After every kind of investigation, he is in a position to say that there has been no wrongdoing. All the allegations are baseless.
Mr. Gupta said these things to the journalists in a press conference on Saturday. He said that after the publication of information for verification of certificates, the Commission has received a threatening letter through e-mail, in which the officer-employee of the Commission has been threatened with death along with obscene abuses.
He said that the CD provided by the protesters alleging irregularities was found to be blank. The allegations made by the complainants were asked to be given through an affidavit, but it was not given.
He said that after investigating the allegations made in the complaint, it was found that the student did not appear in the examination in the seat mentioned. The picture made available after the question paper went viral is a picture taken after 5 pm. The result of any test has been found to be normal. Candidates have been successful from every examination centre.
He said that rumors are also being spread on social media that during the examination period, answers have been memorized in other states, but the Commission’s office has not received evidence in this regard.
He said that in order to make the examination malpractice free, in addition to at least two invigilators in each room, examination observers, static magistrates and patrolling magistrates were deputed at each examination center. Adequate number of CCTVs (total 15991) were installed to monitor the examination centres. No information regarding misconduct has been received from the Deputy Commissioner of any district. Malpractice free, peaceful examination was completed at all 823 examination centres.
