Mumbai entered the final by defeating Baroda by six wickets in the first semi-final of Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy T20.
Where they will face the Madhya Pradesh team which defeated Delhi by 0 wickets in the second semi-final. Baroda scored 158 runs for seven wickets with the help of Shivalik Sharma’s 36 runs and Shashwat Rawat’s 33 runs. Against which Mumbai team won the match by scoring 164 runs for four wickets in 17.2 overs with the help of Ajinkya Rahane’s 98 runs on 56 balls and captain Shreyas Iyer’s 46 runs. Rahane and Iyer made an aggressive partnership of 88 runs for the second wicket and led the team to victory. In the second semi-final, Delhi team scored 146 runs for five wickets with the help of 33 runs from Anuj Rawat and 29 runs from Priyansh Arya. Madhya Pradesh team, which won the toss and fielded first, scored 152 runs for three wickets in 15.4 overs with the help of Rajat Patidar’s unbeaten 66 and Harpreet Singh’s 46 runs.
