Yapur, March 15 (Hindustan Reporter) Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari visited the waterlogging and jammed points of Sikar Road on Friday evening. During this period, NHAI officials remained with us.
The Deputy Chief Minister took stock of the progress of the work going on under culvert number 14 and directed the officials to complete these works before this monsoon.
It is noteworthy that due to waterlogging at VKI number 14, the road gets broken and there is jam here. Due to this years old problem, the local residents and people passing through Sikar Road have to face a lot of trouble. During the last visit, the Deputy Chief Minister had given instructions to NHAI officials for a permanent solution to this problem.
Following the instructions of the Deputy Chief Minister, NHAI has started the construction work of CC road under the flyover to solve this problem.
Along with this, a survey of area number 14 has been done and a drainage plan has been prepared, according to which drainage will be constructed, which will solve the problem of waterlogging.
Flyovers and drainage systems will be developed at a cost of approximately Rs 192 crore. Following the instructions of Deputy Chief Minister Diyakumari, for a permanent solution to the age-old problem of jam and waterlogging on Sikar Road, drainage system and service lines with flyovers are being developed by NHAI at a cost of about Rs 192 crore. Their work orders have been issued and the construction will be completed by approximately 2025.
During this, the Deputy Chief Minister instructed the GDA officials to prepare a better drainage plan for the entire area and get it implemented as soon as possible. During this, concerned officers and local public representatives were present.
