New Delhi, 13 December (HS). Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) will facilitate the sale of Surajkund Mela tickets for the first time through its mobile application and official website. Apart from the online platform, DMRC will also sell tickets at its metro stations and 5 physical counters at the Surajkund Mela site.
According to DMRC, Surajkund Mela tickets will be sold through DMRC Momentum Delhi Sarathi 2.0 app. For this, an MoU was signed between DMRC and Haryana Tourism Corporation. A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between DMRC and Haryana Tourism Corporation here today at Metro Bhawan in the presence of DMRC MD Dr. Vikas Kumar and Haryana Tourism Corporation MD Dr. Sunil Kumar.
As per the MoU, Delhi Metro will facilitate ticket sales through DMRC Momentum 2.0 Delhi Sarathi mobile app, its official website and physical counters at metro stations and the fair site. Apart from this, DMRC will also support in promoting the program by making public announcements and displaying scrolling messages on digital screens at select metro stations.
As part of the MoU, 10 parking spaces for two-wheelers and four-wheelers will also be managed by DMRC. The MoU will be valid for three years, which can be extended based on mutual agreement.
It is noteworthy that tickets for the recently concluded India International Trade Fair were also sold through DMRC Momentum Delhi Sarathi 2.0 app. Surajkund International Crafts Fair will be organized in Faridabad district of Haryana from 7 to 23 February 2025.
