Lucknow, 13 December (HS). Uttar Pradesh Government’s Science and Technology Minister Anil Kumar and Minister of State for Minority Danish Azad Ansari, while paying a courtesy call on Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, formally invited him to attend the Mahakumbh-2025 to be held in Prayagraj. Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha gladly accepted this sacred invitation and praised this unique initiative of the Uttar Pradesh government.
Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha said that Maha Kumbh is an opportunity which provides a unique platform to unite India’s pluralistic society and make the world community aware of the breadth of Indian culture.
Minister Anil Kumar informed the Lieutenant Governor that this historic event will be held from 13 January to 26 February 2025, which is not only important from spiritual and religious point of view, but will also present India’s ancient cultural heritage in a new dimension on the global stage. The objective of this event is to establish the highest ideals of humanity, spirituality, and cultural unity.
The Minister said that Mahakumbh is one of the largest spiritual and cultural gatherings in the world. More than 45 crore devotees, saints, tourists and people from diverse communities are likely to participate in it. This event not only symbolizes cultural diversity but also emphasizes the ideas of mutual harmony, harmony and solidarity in the society.
