Washington : America’s newly elected President Donald Trump has made fun of Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. He said this to the Governor of Canada on the internet media platform Truth Social. In fact, Trump has warned of being extremely strict with non-immigrants living illegally in America. He has vowed to expel all of them from America. Meanwhile, he also threatened to impose 25 per cent tariff on Canada if it fails to stop the entry of illegal immigrants into its territory. Trudeau arrived at Mar-a-Lago for dinner with Trump last week to discuss the issue.
“It was a pleasure to have dinner with Justice Trudeau, Governor of the great province of Canada,” Trump wrote in a post on Truth Social mocking the Canadian prime minister. During the dinner, when Trudeau said tariffs would destroy Canada’s economy, he suggested making Canada the 51st state of the United States. “I look forward to meeting again with the Governor soon so we can continue our deep conversations on tariffs and trade that will have really great results for everyone,” Trump said in the post.
