Yashasvi Jaiswal: Border Gavaskar Trophy is currently being played between India and Australia. Out of this series of five Test matches, two matches have been played. And currently the series is tied at 1-1. After spending an extra day in Adelaide, the Indian team left for Brisbane under the leadership of captain Rohit Sharma. But before leaving for Brisbane, a strange incident happened with the Indian team. Opener Yashasvi Jaiswal was left in the team hotel due to Rohit Sharma’s request. However, then he also left for Brisbane on the same flight. This happened due to delay in catching the bus.
The bus left without taking Jaiswal
In fact, on December 11, the Indian team had left their hotel in Adelaide to catch the morning flight to Brisbane. The third test will be held on 14 December at the famous Gabba Stadium in River City. The interesting thing was that the bus that came to the airport left without taking Yashasvi Jaiswal. And according to Rohit Sharma this also happened. Because Yashasvi was getting late in coming out of the hotel. Perhaps Rohit did not want the team to miss its flight because of one player.
Disappointed with the behavior of Rohit Jaiswal
According to a report, captain Rohit Sharma was angry with this behavior of Yashasvi Jaiswal. The team bus was scheduled to leave for the airport at 8:30 am local time, as the flight to Brisbane was scheduled for 10:05 am. Indian players and support staff members started boarding the bus from 8.20 am. However, Yashasvi Jaiswal was nowhere to be seen during this period. After waiting for some time near the bus, Rohit Sharma got down. And he talked to the team manager and liaison officer.
Jaiswal reached the airport with a security officer
After the conversation, Captain Rohit Sharma boarded the bus again. On Rohit’s insistence the driver picked up the bus at 8:50 without success. Yashasvi left the hotel about 5 minutes after the bus left. However, soon Yashasvi reached the airport in a car with the team’s security officer. And he was in the flight to Brisbane with the Indian team.
