Mohammad Yunus, chief advisor to the interim government of Bangladesh, has requested to shift the visa center of European countries from Delhi to Dhaka or any other neighboring country. He said this in a meeting with diplomats of European Union countries in Dhaka on Monday.
Many issues were discussed in the meeting
The head of the EU delegation in Bangladesh, Michael Miller, held a meeting with Mohammad Yunus at the office of the Chief Adviser in Tejgaon in the capital at 12 noon. A delegation of 19 members attended this meeting. According to Bangladeshi media, 15 representatives expressed their views in the meeting that lasted for about two and a half hours. The meeting discussed the commitments and actions of both on labor rights, trade facilitation, climate change, human rights, implementation of the International Criminal Tribunal Act, Rohingya repatriation and building a sustainable future. At the meeting, chief counsel Mohammad Yunus urged the diplomats present to shift their visa centers for Bangladeshis from Delhi to Dhaka or any other neighboring country.
