Prayagraj, 10 December (Hindustan Reporter). To ensure safe completion of Maha Kumbh Mela 2025, the Roadways Department will create eight temporary bus stations. This information was given by Additional Mela Officer Mahakumbh Vivek Chaturvedi on Tuesday.
He said that in order to complete the Maha Kumbh safely, the Roadways Department will create 8 temporary bus stations to control the crowd for easy and smooth movement of devotees. A place has been earmarked for it. A plan has been prepared for the first phase from January 12 to 13, the second phase from February 24 to February 7 and the third and final phase from February 8 to February 27. In view of the expected crowd coming to the fair, in the first and third phase there will be buses from 10 regions of Uttar Pradesh Roadways. In the second phase, there will be transportation by buses of all 19 regions of Uttar Pradesh. To ensure safe completion of Maha Kumbh, a temporary bus station will be built in Jhunsi which will transport passengers from Dohrighat, Barhalganj Gola, Sajni, Sikriganj, Gorakhpur, Azamgarh, Mau, Ballia and other related routes.
Similarly, there will be movement of passengers going from Durjanpur Bus Station, Saraswati Gate Bus Station to Badlapur, Lamba, Padampur, Kamariya, Varanasi and other related routes. There will be movement of passengers from Kanpur, Kaushambi and other related routes from Nehru Park Bus Station. However, in case of increased crowd, passengers will be transported from Bailey Cachar temporary bus station. Passengers of Rae Bareli, Lucknow, Ayodhya, Gonda, Basti, Bahraich and other related routes will be transported from Bela Cachar temporary bus station. Similarly, passengers of Vindhyachal, Mirzapur, Shakti Nagar and other related routes will be transported from Saraswati Hitech City temporary bus station. Passengers coming from Banda, Chitrakoot, Reenwa, Sidhi and other related routes will be transported from Leprosy Mission Chauraha temporary bus station.
